Vehicles lined up along Highway 1 at the Highway 95 interchange in Golden Drivers traveling between BC and Alberta on Sunday and early Monday should find an alternate route to the Trans-Canada Highway.

A post on the Skilled Truckers Canada Facebook group suggests it was a head-to-head clash between two semi-finalists. One of the trucks may have been carrying cattle. DriveBC says the highway is closed in both directions east of Golden. Estimated reopening time for Highway 1 is 3 p.m. MDT on Monday.
