At around 4.20pm on Saturday 27 August, police were called to a quarry in Tillicoultry following concerns about a man. A body was found with serious injuries and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. The man is described as white, of heavy build and about 50 to 60 years old. He has blue eyes, and his hair is bald, with a gray beard. The man has no visible tattoos and was wearing blue shorts, a dark gray t-shirt with light gray sleeves and black Adidas sneakers with white stripes. Officers are now carrying out inquiries and are appealing for information from the public to identify him. Inspector Martin Morris said: “We do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding this death, however we need to be able to identify him. “Anyone who recognizes the description should contact us.” Anyone with any information should contact police on 101, quoting incident number 2347 of Saturday 27 August 2022.
