NYPD officials said a 42-year-old man was shot in the back after a shooting on West 29th near the west end of the Riegelmann Boardwalk in Brooklyn. He was later pronounced dead. The other four — two men and two women — are expected to recover and were being treated at Langone Hospital in New York in stable condition, officials said.
