Brady, for his part, doesn’t seem interested in enlightening the public about what happened, and that continued Saturday after the Bucks’ preseason finale against the Indianapolis Colts. Asked about the absence during the postgame press conference, Brady’s response was at least honest in spirit. Brady’s full response: “It’s all personal. Everybody has different situations that they deal with, so we all have really unique challenges. I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s*** going on. You just have to take life the best you can. It’s an ongoing process. Fortunately for the Buccaneers, the week off didn’t seem to affect Brady on the field. The seven-time Super Bowl champion was sharp in his lone drive against the Colts, going 6-of-8 for 44 yards in his only preseason appearance. Will we ever know what caused Brady’s absence? Unless the general wants it, probably not. Then again, ‘The Masked Singer’ is set to premiere in less than a month from now… Tom Brady can keep whatever caused his 11-day home absence. And that’s okay. (AP Photo/AJ Mast)
