When is NASA’s Artemis I launching?

NASA plans to launch the SLS rocket on Monday, August 29, 2022. It will have a two-hour launch window starting at 8:33 a.m. ET. That means the rocket could lift off anytime between 8:33 a.m. ET and 10:33 A.M. ET, if there are no delays.

How can I watch the Artemis I launch live?

If you can’t make it to the launch in person, NASA is streaming it live on its website, YouTube channel, and the NASA app. The countdown to the launch begins on Saturday, August 27, at 10:23 AM. ET.

What can I expect at launch?

In addition to the launch itself, NASA plans to have some special guests during the show. This includes appearances by Jack Black, Chris Evans and Keke Palmer as well as a performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” by Josh Groban and Herbie Hancock.
