A Massachusetts woman suspected in a triple murder-suicide earlier this week reportedly wrote a Facebook post accusing her brother-in-law and father of abusing other family members.
Khosay Sharifi, 31, killed her father Mohammad Sharifi, 66, her father-in-law Sanjar Halin, 34, and her brother-in-law’s father Abdul Halin, 56, on Tuesday before shooting herself, police said.
Her father and brother-in-law were found dead in a house on Rockaway Street in Lynn, Massachusetts, while her brother-in-law’s father was found in his car not far away. Sharifi’s body was also found near her car outside a supermarket.
That same day, Sharifi, who died of a suspected gunshot wound, made the abuse allegations on Facebook, according to the Boston Globe.

“Several months ago, I found out that my sister was abused by her husband for 14 years (since they first met),” Sharifi wrote. “He’s choked her, he’s slapped her, he’s kicked her, he’s cursed her and the most recent one a year and a half ago he punched her in the face.”
She claimed her parents and her brother-in-law’s parents knew about the alleged abuse “all these years but they didn’t really do much but say ‘work on it’”.

At the end of the post, he cryptically wrote: “I will not engage in this nonsense.”
Her post did not allude to the impending shooting, and police have not officially linked it to a motive.
The Sharifi family wrote on a page raising money for her funerals: “We lost four loved ones in devastating and unpredictable circumstances.”
