Mrs Trump, who has long been a public critic of the former president, appeared to call for criminal charges in her tweet. The revised search warrant was used by federal investigators to convince Judge Bruce Rinehart to authorize a search of the estate earlier this month, and he was released Friday. The former president took to the Truth Social platform to again attack the search at his Florida estate for top secret documents he took with him from the White House and insisted: “WE GAVE THEM A LOT.” And he followed it up with a second post, which read: “WITCH HUNT!!!” “The affidavit was heavily doctored!!! No mention of “Nuclear,” a total PR sabotage by the FBI and DOJ, or our close working relationship on document turnover – WE GAVE THEM A LOT.” Mr Trump also took aim at Judge Reinhart, who authorized the probe on August 8, accusing him of “hostility and hatred” towards the one-term president. “Judge Bruce Rinehart should NEVER have allowed my home invasion. He withdrew two months ago from one of my cases based on his hostility and hatred of your beloved President, me. What changed; Why didn’t he drop this case? Obama must be very proud of him right now!” Trump and many of his GOP supporters claimed the raid was political and ordered by the White House against potential 2024 challenger Joe Biden. Mr. Biden has categorically denied any prior knowledge of the raid, which was endorsed by Attorney General Merrick Garland. The affidavit says the federal investigation began following a criminal referral from the National Archives, which was sent to the Justice Department in February. Mrs Trump has previously suggested that Jared Kushner, who is married to her cousin, could be the “mole” who tipped off federal agents about the documents. Kushner has vehemently denied this claim. “So first of all, it’s absolutely not true, categorically, by any measure,” he said on former Fox News host Megyn Kelly’s podcast. “But I think that’s more of a statement of the sad state of the media, where the weirder – especially if it involves me – then the media will write and make headlines.”
