Darrell Brooks, 39, from falling asleep at the defense table yelled at Judge Jennifer Dorrow and sheriff’s deputies Friday morning, according to footage released by WISN-TV. “I don’t care if there’s no live stream. People like you, you know nothing about where I come from,” she continued as the judge stood at her bench, arms folded. Brooks then argued with a deputy as Dorrow asked him to stop interrupting the proceedings, according to the station. “Don’t push me dog,” he was heard on the video warning a deputy. “Don’t push then. Don’t push back,” the MP replied. “Put me down again,” the suspect threatened. Brooks was held in contempt of court and escorted out of the courtroom, the report said. He returned after a lunch break and sat calmly before telling Darrow that he wasn’t feeling well and wanted to go back to his cell. The judge granted his request and the hearing continued without him, according to the report. Dorrow dismissed six counts of DUI manslaughter and allowed the state to use evidence from his interrogation in the hours after the attack during two days of hearings, WISN reported. Brooks is accused of intentionally killing six people and injuring 62 others with his SUV at the Waukesha, Wisconsin, Christmas parade last November. WAUKESHA COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE/ Brooks faces six counts of first-degree murder in addition to a slew of other charges and faces up to life in prison. His trial is scheduled to begin in October.
