Florida Judge Bruce Rinehart says the affidavit behind the investigation of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property, with proposed changes by the Justice Department, can be made public by noon today. He says the Justice Department met its burden of showing a compelling reason to keep the parts sealed. Earlier, Donald Trump took to Truth Social for a multi-pronged tirade against federal law enforcement, the Democratic Party and Joe Biden, claiming once again that the raid on his home was nothing more than an act of political persecution. Declaring himself “innocent as can be,” Trump insisted that “radical left-wing Democratic prosecutors” are trying to “circumvent” the Presidential Records Act, which he is accused of violating by removing hundreds of pages of sensitive government documents. He also hinted that his successor is somehow involved. Biden has vehemently denied receiving advance warning about the raid on Trump’s Florida property. “None. Zero. Not one bit,” he told reporters. A report from the Wall Street Journal claims that FBI agents found papers “in uncovered areas” during the Mar-a-Lago search – contrary to assurances from Mr Trump’s team that any sensitive documents were kept under lock and key.

Trump-endorsed Arizona Senate candidate removes abortion views from website
Blake Masters, the Trump-backed Arizona Republican U.S. Senate candidate, has removed a piece of text from his campaign website that supports hard-line anti-abortion laws while publicly softening his opposition to abortion rights . His website previously described him as “100% pro-life” and opposed to “any research using embryonic stem cells or discarded fetal remains.” Teachers specifically deleted language supporting a “fetus personhood” law that would recognize “that unborn babies are human beings who cannot be killed.” He faces incumbent Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly in the November general election. Americans overwhelmingly support abortion rights and the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down Roe v Wade, followed by tough state restrictions, recent election results in deep red Kansas and a surge of women registering to vote after decision, put abortion rights at the center of the midterm election campaigns.
