The ambulance was called to Chatham High Street along with police, paramedics and the fire service at around 8.20pm last night. Two people were injured after a “fall from a height” in the city centre Two people were treated for injuries after the fall, including a man who suffered a non-life-threatening head injury. The emergency helicopter landed in a nearby park while they were evaluated and transported by road to the hospital. An ambulance service spokesman said: “I can confirm that we were called at approximately 8.20pm yesterday to High Street, Chatham to reports of a fall from a height. “Ambulance crews attended and were joined at the scene by Kent, Surrey, Sussex Air Ambulance Service. “Two patients were assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.” “A man was treated for a head injury before being taken to hospital…” The fire service, which left the scene after an hour, added: “We were called at 8.55pm last night to assist SECAmb in High Street, Chatham. One fire engine attended.” A police spokesman said: “Kent Police were called at around 8.05pm. on a report of an assault on Chatham High Street. “Officers attended the scene where a man was treated for a head injury before being taken to a local hospital for further medical attention. “A suspect was arrested in connection with the incident and was also taken to hospital for medical attention. The circumstances are under investigation.”
