The “Rambo” star is filming the upcoming Paramount Plus series “Tulsa King” in Oklahoma City, and friends said Flavin – his wife of 25 years – was constantly on set. Sly was in Oklahoma when the documents were filed on Aug. 18, and sources said he was shocked to hear the news. Sylvester Stallone was reportedly blindsided when he received divorce papers from his longtime wife, Jennifer Flavin. In her divorce petition, filed in Palm Beach, Fla., where the couple has a home, Flavin, 54, alleged that her husband has “engaged in a deliberate dispersal, depletion and/or waste of marital assets” — and demanded Stallone to be barred from selling or transferring assets during the divorce proceedings. Sly hasn’t sold so much as a t-shirt!’ A representative for Stallone gave Page Six a statement on his behalf: “I love my family. We are dealing with these personal issues amicably and privately.” According to a friend, “Sylvester’s intention was to patch things up with Jennifer. Now I don’t know [what will happen] because he decided to go public with everything.” The couple reportedly fought over new dog Dwight, who Flavin didn’t want to add to his family. TMZ, meanwhile, reported that the couple broke up after a big fight over a dog. Stallone, 76, is said to have wanted a new Rottweiler as “protection for his family,” but Flavin reportedly didn’t want to add another pet. This reportedly led to “an extremely heated argument that brought other issues” into their marriage, although those issues were reportedly not considered things they could not resolve. The action star has had a bicep tattoo of his wife’s face for years.JOHN BARRETT Earlier this week it was revealed that Stallone had the tattoo covered with an image of Butkus, the bullmastiff from the ‘Rocky’ movies. Stallone ended up taking the pooch anyway and named him Dwight after the actor’s character “Tulsa King.” He promoted the show on Instagram with a photo of himself and dog Dwight earlier this month. Meanwhile, it was revealed on Tuesday that tattoo artist Zach Perez had posted a now-deleted photo on Instagram that showed Stallone getting a tattoo on Flavin’s arm covered with one of Butkus – the bullmastiff from the ‘Rocky’ movies . Stallone and Flavin’s daughters — Sophia, 26; Sistine, 24; and Scarlet, 20 — were filming a reality show together, which their father reportedly helped them with, and are supposed to debut on Paramount+. But a Hollywood source told Page Six: “Sly got them a reality show, but I don’t know what’s going to happen now.” The couple bought their $35 million home in Palm Beach, Florida in 2020. The Grosby Group/BACKGRID Other industry insiders said Flavin is not a fan of Sly’s longtime publicist Michelle Bega. Flavin claimed sole ownership of the $35 million Palm Beach mansion the couple bought in 2020, paying $5 million as a down payment. According to CelebrityNetWorth.com, Stallone is worth $400 million. “I regret to announce that after 25 years of marriage I have filed for divorce from my husband Sylvester Stallone. While we will no longer be married, I will always cherish the relationship we shared for more than 30 years and know that we are both devoted to our beautiful daughters,” Flavin said in a statement to People. The couple met at a Beverly Hills restaurant in 1988, when Flavin was a 19-year-old aspiring model and “The Expendables” actor was 42, and they divorced twice. However, their relationship was apparently not conventional. In 1991, Stallone said, “When we come together, it’s great. When we are apart, there are no strings attached. That’s the way it is. No strings.” Stallone broke up with Flavin in 1994 via FedEx, but they later got back together. Getty Images A year later, Flavin said: “I’m not naive about what might be going on when I’m not around — he’s a 45-year-old man — I can’t change the way he is. However, he is not a dog who cheats every day of the week. We spend five out of seven nights together, so I don’t know where he will find the time.” However, Flavin’s trust was shattered in 1994 when Stallone broke up with her via a FedEx letter – after model Janice Dickinson, with whom he was having an affair, said he was the father of her daughter. A DNA test said otherwise, and Stallone and Flavin patched things up and said “I do” in 1997.
