Jennifer Flavin has filed for divorce after she and Sylvester Stallone had a huge fight over their new Rottweiler, sources told TMZ on Wednesday. Stallone, 76, apparently wanted the dog, named Dwight, for “family protection.” However, Flavin didn’t want to add another dog to the family. Instead of compromising, they “stood firm in their positions.” The damning dog fight reportedly led to “an extremely heated argument that brought other issues” into their marriage, although it didn’t appear they were “married” at the time. Unfortunately for both Flavin, 54, and their marriage, the “Rocky” star won the argument and used the dog to promote his new show, “Tulsa King,” naming it after his character. A representative for Stallone did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment. “So incredibly happy with my characters my newly acquired four legged friend ‘DWIGHT’ [sic] name from the series, keep banging and barking!!!” Stallone wrote in an Instagram post announced earlier this month. Stallone’s other dog, Butkus, the famous bullmastiff from the “Rocky” franchise, may also have been a factor in their marital problems after he covered up a large tattoo on his wife’s face with a picture of the puppy. On Aug. 19, Flavin filed for dissolution of their 25-year marriage in Palm Beach County, Florida, Page Six confirmed Wednesday. In court documents obtained by Page Six, the former model claimed their union is “irreparably broken.” Flavin also alleged that her husband “has engaged in the willful dispersal, depletion and/or waste of marital assets.” Jennifer Flavin filed for divorce last week.GC Images “I love my family. We’re dealing with these personal issues amicably and privately,” Stallone told us on Wednesday. The “Creed” actor married Flavin in May 1997 after meeting at a restaurant 10 years earlier. The former couple have three daughters: Sophia, 25, Sistine, 24, and Scarlett, 20. Before Flavin, Stallone was married to Sasha Czack from 1974 to 1985 and Brigitte Nielsen from 1985 to 1987. He and Czack had sons together, Sage, who died in July 2012, and Seargeoh , 43 years old.
