The video does not show the attack itself, but the audio clearly captures the sound of four gunshots. Olivia was killed shortly after 10pm on Monday night after a 35-year-old man, chased by another man with a gun, forced his way into her home. The gunman followed and put his hand through a gap in the door, before firing blindly into the corner. Olivia was shot in the chest and fatally wounded as she stood at the bottom of the stairs, while her mother Cheryl was shot in the arm. The video focuses on a street outside and its audio captures the gunshots. They are heard ringing – first a couple, then a gunshot, then another gunshot – as the fight would take place inside the house. The 35-year-old is believed to have been the intended target of the balaclava-wearing attacker, who chased him down the street before Nee entered the schoolgirl’s home in the Dovecot area to try and escape.
